Supporting the future of farming
We help farmers fend off invading pests and weeds through early detection and continuous monitoring
It started with lemons...
Lemons and other citrus fruits in Florida are affected by the dreaded "greening disease", which causes the fruit to go bitter and the trees to die.
The problem is caused by a tiny insect called Asian Citrus Psyllid – or rather, bacteria that sometimes infect the psyllid. The disease has reached California and threatens to cause irreversible damage.
We are on a mission to help farmers detect this and other pests and weeds early and reliably, and at the same time reduce the need for pesticides and weed killers.
Our Technology
– Monitoring that matters
High Precision
We sample the environment and sequence environmental DNA to monitor for invasive pests on your lands. In this way, we can separately quantify the burden of a large range of pests.
Ease of Use
Many farmers already sample their fields routinely for pests and weeds. Getting all the answers you need is as easy as mailing the samples to us.
Peace of Mind
Knowing exactly what you are dealing with helps – you can apply the pesticides and weed killers you need when and where they are needed.

Why you should give us a try.
"
Citrus growers can save 50% of the pesticides applied if it becomes possible to detect pests early on.

"
There has been an accelerating influx of new pest and pathogen species to California in recent decades, with a higher fraction of species establishing permanently.

A method for detecting many different pests at once would be very useful. Today, a lot of resources are spent on manual field monitoring.
